***Seniors***If you are going on the class trip to Washington, D.C. in April, you need to pay a $50 deposit by Oct. 24. See Ms. Ford in the library to pay your deposit. If your parents did not get to attend the meeting on Oct. 6, they have until Oct. 24 to come by school and sign a permission slip. Parents may come to Open House on Oct. 23 to sign the permission slip and pay the deposit.      

October 15 - October 24 - Celebrate My Drive begins Oct. 15! Please help our school win the top prize of $100,00! Make sure you vote once a day every day!Voters go to the site and click on the "Make Your Safe Driving Committment" box displayed in red in the middle of the page. Make sure you select GCHS! October 23 - OPEN HOUSE, 3:30-6:30 & High School & Beyond Senior Parent meeting at 6:00 PM

October 28 - Sophomore/Junior picture retakes, Club pictures & Senior class picture will be made, and pictures for any Senior who has not had formal pictures made

October 30 - Senior meeting with Jostens 8:30 & Sophomore meeting with Jostens 9:00

November 1 - Yard Sale in the GCMS/HS Cafeteria sponsored by the Senior class, 8:00 AM -3:00 PM. Please send or bring any items that you would like to donate to Ms. Ford in the high school library.

November 3 - NSTCC Lunch Visit

November 4 - Election Day, no school

November 6 & 7 - Senior Graduation supply orders due

November 7 - Powder Puff Football 7:30 PM

November 8 - SAT in the High School gym

November 25 - Dismissing at 1:00 PM

November 26-28 - Fall Break, no school 

December 1 - State SOL testing window opens, more details for GCHS to follow

December 19 - Senior community service hours are due

December 22 - January 5 - Winter Break, no school
