Welcome to Twin Springs High School
The mission of Twin Springs High School is to provide a safe, supportive learning environment for all students and an instructional program to meet the capabilities and needs of all students. We encourage our students to grow intellectually, physically, and ethically. We strive to help students develop a positive self-image and sense of cooperation. We also encourage them to make informed, responsible decisions in the hope they will lead ethical, productive lives.
The Titan Marching Band performs half-time shows at football games and pep band music during the games. The Marching Band travels to marching competitions, local area parades, and public concerts throughout the area.
Students may opt for an advanced studies diploma and select electives from Holton Governor's School, Scott County Career & Technical Center, and Virtual Virginia.
Through the cooperative efforts of students, parents, teachers, and administrators, Twin Springs High School desires an educational system which will prepare today’s youth for tomorrow’s responsibilities. We believe that an instructional program should be provided for students of all capabilities and needs. As for faculty and staff, we also wish to encourage moral and ethical growth for all of our students. Twin Springs High School has proven itself as one of the top schools in the state regarding percentage of students passing the End of Course tests. The students, faculty, and staff take pride in these students' accomplishments and in the fact that Twin Springs is a fully state accredited high school. We hope that you share in this pride, and we are confident that the students at Twin Springs will continue to excel. Parents, thank you for your support to your child and to Twin Springs High School. Our faculty and staff believes that we share with the parents, students, and community the responsibility for educational success of our students. We believe that all students can learn, given the appropriate opportunities, and that students need to develop critical thinking skills, and that our students should be provided with appropriate social and technical skills to meet life's challenges.
